Chameleon Pro by FrogsThemes is responsive theme for blogging that comes with a sidebar manager, an ad manager and a visual composer as an additional editor for posts and pages.

The theme supports natively one WordPress 3 menu – left aligned under the header.

FrogsThemes Chameleon Pro incorporates four custom widgets:

The Chameleon Pro panel comprehends three pages:

The Sidebar Manager gives you the ability to create dynamic sidebars – custom widget areas which you can assign to individual posts and pages. You can adapt the sidebar alignment (a left or a right sidebar) for each page and post – or disable the sidebar altogether.

Upon activation you are welcomed by the FT Installer; an installation wizard offering you a choice out of two options: install on an existing website; 2) installing on a brand new website. This wizard will guide you to accomplishing a correct theme setup.

FrogsThemes Chameleon Pro Theme Options

The Chameleon Pro theme options serve nine tabs to help you configure the theme:

• General Settings
• Styling Options
• Typography
• Header
• Footer
• Blog Options
• Contact
• Connections
• Localizations

The General Settings allow you to upload a logo and favicon, enter your Google Analytics code, custom RSS link and Feedburner ID for the newsletter sign-up form.

Chameleon Pro comes with seven predefined color schemes. You select your preferred skin at the Styling Options. You are able to customize the default color schemes, for example by changing the background color or uploading a background image.

At the Typography tab, you can change the font size, font-family, and color for the site title, body text, tagline and headings.

The Header and Footer options allow you to include a banner ad or search form in the header right respectively the footer right area. The latter is displayed between the widgetized footer and the footer including the credits.

The Blog Options offer you a choice between three views: grid, excerpt and full posts. Additional options include whether or not to display the Featured Image, automatic image thumbs, and share buttons.

When you have enabled all options, the homepage is assembled from:

• Latest Post Featured Box
• Recent Posts
• Footer
• Site Title or Logo & Search Form

The Contact tab serves a field where you can enter the contact form e-mail address.

You can enter your ID respectively URL at Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube at the Connections tab.

The Localization settings offer you an easy way to translate or customize the theme.

FrogsThemes builds its themes upon its FrogsThemes Framework, which includes an Ads Manager and Ad Centre.

The Ad Manager lets you create and manage campaigns (Image/Link/Flash Ads) which you can assign to a specific Ad Zone (Above or Below a Post or Page).

Registered (potential) advertisers have access to the Ad Centre where they can check upon available campaigns and make an Ad Request. Only with your approval, an Ad Request becomes an Ad Purchase.

Another great feature of the FrogsThemes Framework is the Visual Composer, as an alternative to WordPress’ WYSIWYG and HTML editors. The Visual Composer is a drag-and-drop page builder offering a choice out of Popular Layouts and Content Elements (shortcodes). The Visual Composer is available for posts and pages.

FrogsThemes does not sell individual themes; you cansubscribe to a yearly membership.

A Professional Membership is only $39. This plan gives you access to all current and future themes as well as theme updates and technical support for as long as you decide to remain a member.
