Obox Azione

Azione by Obox is a theme specifically designed for vlogs – video blogs. The theme however, is suitable for any kind of blog, because of to the widgitized homepage and optional regular blog homepage.

This theme supports natively two WordPress 3 menus; the main menu just below the header, and the second one just below the content area – just above the footer widgets.

At the Home Layout page you have to choose what kind of home page you want for your site. The options are a Regular Blog Layout or Widget Driven.

A Regular Blog Layout will only display posts on the homepage.

A Widget Driven homepage can be assembled from the slider, and any widgets dropped into the Home Page and Home Page 3 Column widget areas. The first step would be to add one or more Four Column widgets to the Home Page area in order to structure this content area. The next step is to populate the column widgets with the widgets of your preference.

The theme comes with two color schemes: light and dark. At the Typography page, you define which of the 37 pre-installed fonts you want to apply for the General, Navigation, Post Meta, Post Titles, Post Copy, Widget Titles and Footer Widget Titles. In addition, you can set font size and color for each of these elements.

The theme offers four kinds of page templates:

• Full Width
• Widgetized Page

The theme extends the Edit Post screen with specific Azione Options with regard to video files:

• Image
• Video Link
• Embedded Code
• Self Hosted Video Formats: .MP4 or .MPV
• Self Hosted Video Formats: .OGV (for non HTML5 browsers)

The Featured Image is supported fully, but you can decide otherwise. At the General page of the panel, you see several options for handling images: WordPress Featured Image, Disable Images, Obox Main Image, or Custom Image Meta. Just pick what suits you best.

The stated price of $60 is for the Single Pack which includes three themes. Next to the purchased theme, you are allowed to pick two bonus themes for free – so you will get three themes all together.

Next to the Single Pack, Obox Design also offers a Developer Pack and a Membership. A Developer Pack comes at $120 and comes with one bonus theme, the Obox Mobile plugin and the PSD files.

The Obox Membership gives you access to the entire Obox collection of themes, PSD files and plugins. The one-time sign-up fee is $140, and the monthly subscription is $15. The Obox Membership includes current products and future products released during your membership.
