StudioPress Decor

Decor by StudioPress is a Genesis child theme for professional and personal blogs with a mobile responsive layout.

Themes with a responsive layout will adapt the presentation of the web page to the screen of the device used by the visitor, be it a desktop, a laptop, a tablet or a smartphone. These themes respond to screen size and orientation of that screen.

This theme supports natively two WordPress 3 menus.

StudioPress Decor installs with seven custom widgets:

This Genesis Child Theme serves six widgetized areas:

• Header Right
• Primary Sidebar
• Secondary Sidebar

You can choose for one, two or three column page layouts. The Secondary Sidebar is only displayed in the three column layout.

You can have one sidebar at either side of the content area, both sidebars at the same side, or no sidebars at all.

The Genesis panel comprehends four pages:

The Theme Settings page includes toggle boxes for:

• Information (General)
• Color Style
• Custom Feeds
• Default Layout
• Navigation Settings

• Header and Footer Scripts

You can set the Default Layout to one column (just the content area), two or three columns. In the latter case, you can opt for a sidebar on each side, or have two sidebars on the same side of the content area. For each individual post and page, you have the ability to alter the default page layout.

Decor comes with four predefined color schemes: the default gold, amethyst, copper, and silver.

The Featured Image is supported partly, meaning it will show up on index pages and in the grid view, but not on the single post page as the first image. If you would like to display the Featured Image also as the first image in a post, you only have to push the Insert into Post button, which is right next to the Use as a featured image link.
